More about Columbus Metropolitan Library

Monica asked me to look into Columbus' teen site in more detail for some of the cool stuff they do there. I meant to, really, but got side-tracked by some of the cool features they have:


1. "about you" icon which links into account information

2. a customize button in which you choose which branch and then limits your search result

teen area: this site is pretty engaging! Monica wanted me to look at the Fabulous Five list - what a great concept! Ask teens to submit their top 5 something/anything for consideration to be posted to the website! An easy way to get content and for teens to express themselves!

Besides their Fabulous Five list, i like the customization you can do ~~ customize color, search engine, location and book genres ~~~ It's interesting, tho, that they don't provide any homework or research help within their pages, unless i've missed something.
