The Digital Services department received feedback from several sources including: patrons via Ask@ALD, the Programming department, as well as from members of Management Council, that the term "calendar" is confusing for patrons who are seeking to register for a program online. The challenge however is that the calendar section features more information than just programs that are to be registered for. Due to this we feel that creating a button called "Program Registration," for example, would be misleading.
After a bit of searching of other library sites who use our program registration product we found a term that we believe to be more effective. The new button name is now entitled "Programs & Events." The change has already been implemented so by the time you read this you should notice the change on our site.

Perhaps it's just my computer/monitor, but the button reads "Programs &"
without the word "Events" - which is confusing.
